As for the weather in Troodos it is completely different than the rest of the island of Cyprus. Troodos is located inland and it has considerable elevation above sea level so it experiences lower temperatures and major amount of precipitation compare to other places. Moreover, the temperature at Troodos decreases by approximately 5°C with every 1,000 meters. During the hottest months of July and August, the temperatures average at 28°C during the middle of the day. As for the coldest months of January and February, during the day the temperatures are between 6°C and 7°C. Lastly, the month with 170 mm of rainfall is December, which is the month with most precipitation.
