Great month, great country, great fun - June inaugurates summer. This month provides a warm and sunny period throughout Cyprus. June is a month ideal for enjoying thrilling days on the beach sunbathing and playing. Cyprus beaches cater to both young people and families alike, with many amenities and watersports activities (snorkelling, jet skiing, scuba diving and waterskiing). There are numerous festivals, concerts and cultural events to enjoy during nighttime. For young adults and teens, the discos and nightclubs provide absolute pleasure and joy, whereas some of the Beach clubs are renowned worldwide.

The low temperatures are around 18°C (65°F), and the Highs reach 30°C (86°F). Do not expect any rain (just 2 mm of precipitation in just 1-2 days) and an average of 14 hours of daily sunlight. The Troodos mountain range is enjoyable cooler with up to 7°C lower than inland temperatures whereas night temperatures averaging 15°C.

The Kataklysmos Festival (The Day of the Holy Spirit) is usually celebrated during June. In recent times, these festivities come along with extensive Kids water fights all around the island! Another famous festival is the Russian-Cyprus festival in Limassol. It was created to strengthen relations between Russian and Cypriot people living in the town and is sponsored by the Russian embassy and the Limassol Municipality.
