Weather in Cyprus in May

May is here. Full of Summer activities and visits to the numerous beaches around the island by locals and visitors alike. This is an exciting time for Water-sports, Scuba diving, Parasailing and Beach Volley. Water Parks in Fassouri Limassol as well as in Ayia Napa and the Aphrodite Water Park in Paphos start to get crowded and loud. An equally lovely day out for kids and adults who enjoy water slides and rides. With average costal temperatures of around 22°C (69°F), May is a perfect month for people who find the extremely high temperatures and ample humidity of July and August somewhat uncomfortable. Cyprus mountains are always cooler with temperatures of around 21°C, which fall as low as 12° C during nighttime. There are about 10 hours of sunlight during May.
